Almond Cookies-Using Valley Kitchen All Purpose Flour
Yield: 24 Cookies
- 1 1/2 cups Valley Kitchen All Purpose Flour
- 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 cup Butter, soft
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Almond Extract
- 1 Large Eggs
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 325° F.
- Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, using an electric beater, cream the soft butter with the sugar and almond extract. Add the egg and beat until fluffy.
- Blend the dry ingredients, in 3 portions, into the batter, stirring with a wooden spoon or a stiff spatula until combined.
- Scoop 1 Tbsp of dough for each cookie onto the baking sheet. Leave space for the cookies to spread.
- Bake for 14-15 minutes.
These are crunchy cookies, perfect for finishing a meal or as a treat.
