Savory Oatmeal Bowl

Oatmeal is seen as a food reserved for breakfast and is considered a sweet meal. But we are here to take out that misconception and show you how to make a delicious bowl!

  • ½ cup Valley Oatmeal
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ Tbsp salt
  • ½ Tbsp Pepper
  • ½ Tbsp paprika
  • ½ Tbsp Everything Bagel Seasoning
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tbsp bacon (optional)


  1. Add 1/2 cup oatmeal into a pot and stir for 15 sec. Then add your water. Let simmer, and then turn on low for 8-10 min. Add salt and pepper to your liking.
  2. Make your easy side eggs in another pan and put salt, paprika, pepper, and everything bagel seasoning.
  3. Chop up 2 tbsp of cheddar cheese.
  4. Once oatmeal is ready put it in a bowl, add your bacon bits, sliced cheddar cheese, and egg and enjoy!
